Some
years Mother Nature blesses Oregon with ideal conditions to produce late
harvest wines. To make these special wines, grapes must be left on the vines
as long as possible to obtain maximum sweetness while building intense flavors
and promoting the growth of Botrytis cinerea (noble rot). When
these conditions come together the super ripe grapes can be transformed
into luscious and alluring wines!
